We are committed to the safety, protection and wellbeing of all children, young people and vulnerable adults with care and support needs from all forms of abuse and neglect.

We actively seek to prevent its occurrence, and look to provide an enjoyable and  safe environment.

We have a comprehensive safeguarding policy in place which encompasses best practice, training and education of staff and volunteers in dealing with all forms of abuse, and risk management strategies to prevent abuse from occurring within any group connected with the Church.

All our officers and persons of responsibility are DBS checked and trained within the area of their responsibility.

We are members of Thirty-one Eight, the church guidance organisation for Safeguarding which can be found here https://thirtyoneeight.org/.

Our Policy is in line with Thirty-One Eight church guidance and we actively communicate with them for professional advice over any safeguarding issues.
